DevOps / Platform Engineer

We run our own products, which means we carry our own pager. This role is about making that boring — deployments that are unremarkable, backups that have actually been restored from, and alerts that fire before a client notices.

What you would work on

• Deployment pipelines and staging environments across our products and client systems
• Cloud infrastructure, sizing and cost management
• Monitoring, alerting and incident response
• Backup and restore procedures that get tested rather than assumed
• Security patching, access control and the unglamorous hygiene work

What we are looking for

• Comfortable on Linux, with real AWS experience and an eye on the bill
• CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and container experience
• Calm during incidents, and inclined to write the post-mortem afterwards
