The problem

Nobody can read a tile catalogue. A homeowner redoing a bathroom is asked to imagine a whole room from a small swatch, hesitates, and delays the decision — or picks safely and regrets it. Architects lose days to physical sampling and client back-and-forth.

What we built

Tile View is a free design tool that lets anyone see how tiles will look in their room before buying a single one. Choose a room, set your preferences, pick a scheme, and see a realistic view of the finished space in a few minutes. It runs in any browser — no app, no login to explore.

The six-step wizard takes three to five minutes: choose the room type and size, set colour mood, style, budget and any special needs, then pick from design schemes ranked by how well they match. Each zone of the scheme — lower wall, highlighter strip, upper wall, floor — takes its own tile, which is how rooms are actually designed.

The preview offers three views: a 3D corner render of two walls and a floor with adjustable tilt and turn, a flat wall grid, and a top-down floor grid. Grout colour is adjustable across ten options.

It closes the loop commercially too. A finished design leads straight into Tile Calc for quantities and cost, or into “find a dealer near me” — and dealer leads arrive in Sales360 with the full design context attached, not just a name and number.
